ten -15 years ago a kid i knew built his own1/2 ton using a extended cab long box frame he slid the rear cab mounts back and cut them to fit was the only mod he had to do he said. he built 3/4 a couple of years later and he discovered the rear mounts from a short box extended cab fit perfectly

Yeah i may have to cut under the cab and shorten the rear of frame too, under the cab would suck but oh well...

Got the crew out to parents shop to get away from the theivin mofos! and got the rear end yanked out and some measuring done so i can get a game plan on where in going to cut the frame
