Learn as I go...
I'm working on a 67 Chevy truck that i got a good deal on. It hasn't been run since 93 based on the tag decal. I was able to get the engine running, so now I'm working on the brakes. I think eventually I'll do a conversion to disc, but right now I just trying to get this girl back on asphalt. So, I'm curious if I need to replace the metal brake lines, or will the lines I have be ok? The outside is rusty, but I didn't know if the inside is good. I've already bought a new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, & new hoses. So, will I be ok with the old lines, or should I go ahead & spring for the new lines. Also, what about the proportion valve? Thanks guys.
