Rear Pinion Angle??

Can you guys tell me what my rear end pinion angle is supposed to be?? I have a 71 LB 2wd. I am new to this truck stuff and just seems like it is pointing too far up. Thanks for the help, this board is great!!!!!

The rear pinion angle doesn't need to be anything by itself specifically. It does need to be within 3 degrees of the angle as measured from the tranny. Here are some good links that show you how to properly measure it: 1 and 2. Three degrees is what most of the info I've read recommend. And you don't want 0 either as that can restrict bearing lubrication in the u-joint. Forgot 3 and 4.

I understand everything about the the pinion angle. I was just looking for the stock pinion angle for my 71 c10. somebody messed with it and has the pinion going way too far up. Just wanted to adjust it back to stock.
