Gun control, the theory that 110lb. women have the "right" to fistfight with 210lb. rapists.

The reason animal rights activists are more passionate about fur than leather is because it's safer to harrass rich women than bikers...

Re: 4x4 cars

That's something that was real popular for a while. From the looks of most of those pics I'd say those cars were built during that era. Some of them are rolling death rigs and some of them are pretty well built. ...... I couldn't say as to whether I would own one or not. It would really have to be priced right.

I shot this car at the Turkey Run this past year. The fellers was standin round eatin baloney sammiches! Car was way clean too.

This bug was just way to nice to do something like this to it.

Re: 4x4 cars

Here's a few rigs recently seen at the Moyie Mud Bog in N. Idaho. Obviously all built for fun and not to be taken seriously, like some of those other "interesting" show car/truck/things?

Mortis the 6WD Hearse.
Bugzilla.(aka Herbie on Steriods)
MudCuda?

I can see an Elcamino being a 4x4, wish GM had done some factory, that would have been pretty cool.

Re: 4x4 cars

Well, now I have a reason to post my "new" DD.

1986 AMC Eagle, only pic I have so far. It's a hunk of junk, but don't get me wrong, it goes like a tank. But it also goes through almost as much oil as gas.

Hey, it came with a good parts car & a new inpection for $1000. Gimmie a break.

Re: 4x4 cars

All's I can say is a least not too many "GOOD" cars were hurt in the filming of this thread. A vette, C'mon and a cuda and a charger, other than that, who cares, a yugo?!

Re: 4x4 cars

It is always a shame to see first gen. camaros, a SPLIT WINDOW VETTE, a couple of nice chargers/cudas, and even a nice mustang or two end up like this......plus, it seems half of them end up on perfectly good blazer frames! (that is a double waste in my book).
BUT......it's not my money, it's not my time, and it's not my life on the line in a shody built one.....soo......too each his own!

I did always think those bugs made nice little baja rigs though!

Re: 4x4 cars

I guess in defense of some of these rides, they were done before Barrett Jackson came along. The vette, cuda, chargers, etc, could be returned back. I doubt that these are shoddy or anymore dangerous than a truck body on them, as car or truck still just bolts onto the frame? Buy a vette X4 and make a vette out of it, that 63 is worth fixing (undoing!) To each thier own?

What a terrible thing to do to a split window vette.
