April 2022 ToTM
For our April 2022 Truck of the Month (ToTM) contest the theme is
Clunk & Chunk Things may rattle, clunk and even fall off, but we love our ole trucks. This month’s contest theme is based on those trucks that are rude, crude, and vehicles that are far from show or nice. Here is the criteria for this month’s contest.
You or someone else may nominate the vehicle. The nominee must be a board member and the current owner of the truck. Once you decide on who you wish to nominate, just add your nomination to this thread. We will need two pictures minimum, at least one full view of the vehicle and one showing the engine. In addition, we will need the owner’s board name and the Make/Model/Year of vehicle. Nominations will run through March 23. The first 15 nominees that meet the criteria will participate in the contest We will need two pictures minimum (at least one full view of the vehicle) with/for the nomination as well as the owner’s board name, the Make/Model/Year of vehicle. I will PM the nominees to get any additional data or pictures if they have not already been provided. If the owner has a preferred picture they want used in the contest, please let me know in a PM. You can PM me for an e-mail address in case anyone has problems resizing the pictures for the board. A Poll Thread will be set up March 24 in this board area and an announcement will be posted on the Discussion Boards to notify all that voting has begun. The Poll will run thru the morning of April 1 and the official announcement of the winner will be on the evening of April 1. The announcement of the ToTM winner will be posted through the General Discussion Board area.

Re: April 2022 ToTM
So, rotted out, missing panels and still road legal? I guess that narrows it down to Blazers in India or Pakistan.

Re: April 2022 ToTM
I have one large dent in the Driver side and holes from the PO trying to pull out the dents in passenger side. and a little rust . So I don't know if my Burb would qualify.

Re: April 2022 ToTM
Here’s my 72 K20. I’ve fixed a lot of the rust but it’s still got the multi color paint going on pretty strong. 2 or 3 different shades of green, hugger, and black cab corners, rockers and tailgate. It’s got this awesome fender art too… my kids were scared of it when they were little. Did I mention it’s still straight piped on the driver side only because the muffler rusted/cracked out I’ll get to it one of these days.

I’ll throw my hat in the ring on this one. 1971 GMC 2500 daily driver, originally a 402 but now has a 454,th400, roof air(not working). It’s come a long way for a free truck.

Re: April 2022 ToTM
1970's custom /10. Stood outside somewhere for what felt like 15 years. Not a nice paint, not a nice interior, not a nice bed, holes in the rocker panels - but mine
Stay healthy!
