Rear height measurement help

I am trying to figure out how much lower than stock my truck rear ended up. If I measure from the floor up to the bottom of the front rivet in the rear fender, it is 27"

I would like for someone to measure a stock 3100 in the same place so I can determine how much it got lowered in the process

Thanks

Re: Rear height measurement help

first start with the year and model of the truck. a lot of guys may know you and your project but a quick hint in the title would be good for sure. personally I am on here a lot but see so many projects it's hard to remember who has what. a reference in the title would be great.
try here for general reference on many years

or here specifically for your question

Re: Rear height measurement help

Click on trucks, then click on the correct year and the pages for that year will show up. Then scroll down to the correct model and there are diagrams that show the height of the floor of the bed to the ground. https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/gm-...tion-kits.html

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
