Needs opinions on rims

I am thinking of getting some 2crave nx1 rims 20" with a backspace of 18mm and was wondering what you guys think about how they would look on my truck. Also is an offset of 18mm to big for these trucks? (also thought i would add that the rims have low profile tires on them)

Re: Needs opinions on rims

You looking at the chrome or black ones? Personally I think the chrome ones would look good. I don't really like low profile tires on trucks though.

I think those Centerline Auto Drags look great on your truck already.

Re: Needs opinions on rims

They are the chrome ones. I am looking at new rims because i want some for the winter (with winter tires) and some for the summer. I am thinking about keeping the rims i have and just getting new tires but i am not sure cause I like the look of 20" rims.

Re: Needs opinions on rims

I think the backspacing might be a bit much maybe but not to sure. They look nice and shiny but I also kinda like whats on the truck right now haha. Post up some pictures if you do end up getting them.

Not for me. I am not really a fan of the newer style wheels on classic trucks. Just my .02

Re: Needs opinions on rims

I'm all about 20s on these trucks but not those wheels. Plus I think the offset is wrong and will rub.

That is a great way to ugly up your nice little shortbox. Hideous rims.

If you want to do 20s right, grab a set of these:

First it is a long box. Second I would love to get a pair of those they are my dream wheels but I don't have the money for them (not including the tires needed).

Check out this website. It will help you on figuring out backspacing, etc.

Re: Needs opinions on rims

I think King-918 described it best

Guess if that's what you want, go for it. I personally don't like anything over a 15" wheel. I never did jump on the rubber band tire bandwagon and big wheels just don't go with classic vehicles in my opinion. I could live with a 16 or 17 but that's my limit. Those 20's you pictured made me cringe.
