79 Shamrock Green Help

Hello 73-87 friends - I normally live in the 67-72 area, but have a question and was wondering if one of you could help me out perhaps with some info and, hopefully, a pic or two.

Am looking at a truck that was originally "shamrock" green according to the seller. I don't have a SPID or build sheet (yet). It's been repainted blue, no trace of the green. I see Shamrock green listed in the 79 sales brochure, but not seeing what it seems to correspond to in RPO codes below. First of all - DOES it correspond to any of the greens on this paint chip chart? And, more importantly, can anyone post a pic of a Shamrock green truck? And its interior? Thanks for the help.

It's 43, the Brt. Green Poly. This thread has an SPID with it listed: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php?p=4521449

Re: 79 Shamrock Green Help

THANK YOU! Not as bad as I was afraid of. Love the olives, a little sketchy on the greens... Maybe I should run back to the 67-72 world while I can! Been looking for a 77-79 K20 camper special Silverado and found one - but it's a blue repaint over shamrock green... Hmmm. Kinda messy to resto that!

You're welcome. They sure liked their metallics in 79.
