Front spring removal ???

Whats the easiest way to get the front springs out ??? undo shock and pop out upper or lower ball joint with jack under lower a-arm to lower slowly ???

That's how I did mine. I loosened the lower ball joint nut, supporting the truck on a jack stand. I knocked the LBJ loose, took the ball joint nut off and SLOWLY lowered down the control arm.

Don't be sceered! As long as none your body parts and valuables are not underneath it, just remove the shock and lower ball joint castle nut and give the steering knuckle a good wack with a MFAT (Maximum Force Adjusting Tool) and let 'er fly! There is really not much pressure left on the lower control arm from the spring, and between the ground and the steering knuckle and the rest of the suspension, the spring really can't go far...FYI...

Thanks guys !!! Was wondering which was easier top or bottom BJ , seems the bottom is the prefered.
