Outside mirrors

I searched and researched hi and low and can't seem to pick a set of door mirrors. Don't like the factory ones and was wondering if anyone is running Ford or another maker on there 67 to 72 c10. Got a couple of pics of a 64 Bronco mirrors and was wondering what you all think or any suggestions or pics would help out alot. Thanks

Re: Outside mirrors

I hate the tiny little square mirrors my 72 came with. But I've not found a suitable alternative yet.

Re: Outside mirrors

I'm thinking more like this. I like the fifties and early sixties trim and mirrors.

Re: Outside mirrors

I picked up some F150 mirrors since I tried the stock ones and they are too small and shaky for my taste.

This thread has a pic of a truck with the same mirrors installed.

Re: Outside mirrors

this definitely falls into the category of "it's your truck, you should do what you like" BUT - having said that, mirrors are one of those things that, unless done with a factory mirror, you can kill about 3/4ths of your resale pool with the "wrong" choice. Think of the silly looking autozone truck mirrors that folks have put on for years that people put on just to have a mirror, period - and we moan about those poor choices so much. Holes in the doors that will require a repaint if anyone ever wants to go back stock... etc etc. If you ever think you might sell it, the sport mirrors, which are very similar to some of your choices, can't be a bad choice. Having said all that, in the end, you gotta go with your gut. If you like em (and the ones you highlighted ARE nice choices), then go for it and don't look back.

Re: Outside mirrors

I've been looking at Chevelle mirrors in the same years.

Re: Outside mirrors

IMO that these trucks especially 67 68 look so much more appealing with a little drop and (hotrod ) trim here and there. Aside from my drive train and interior lol everything else is original. Think I'm going with the 58 Impala or full size from Yearone. Would love more suggestions if possible.

Talbot racing mirrors if you want exotic. 69 Nova mirrors if you don't.
