Question Okay to move cab with midsize pickup?

Gonna have to rent a truck to pick up a cab and doors this weekend. Can save a few bucks on rental fees and probably a few more on gas by getting a midsize (Chevy Colorado, Dodge Dakota, etc.) versus a full-size truck. Any problem with weight or dimensions trying to put a '72 cab in the back of one of these smaller trucks?

Thanks,
Brent

Won't be a problem. I have hauled a lot of weight in my old Sonoma!

I'm not sure it will physically fit though. Seems like it is a snug fit with a full size. I could be wrong though...

Re: Okay to move cab with midsize pickup?

I borrowed a 5x8 trailer from a friend, to pick up a cab, MUCH easier loading and unloading....

Re: Okay to move cab with midsize pickup?

Disregard my question unless someone wants to answer it so the answer's in the archives for others to reference. Just got my cab delivered by the seller so no need for me to worry about renting a truck. Thanks for the replies!
