Oh, and windshield wipers too... I've had 'em for like 3 months, but they have yet to make their way on the truck

To be honest, they're not great, but they're not useless either. I'm used to the big mirrors on my Z71. These mirrors are only like 4" in diameter or something like that. They fit the theme of my truck, that's why I got them, I was trying to go for a classic look with subtle details (tailagate chains removed, shaved fuel filler with door in rear fender, fog lights, corvette rallys...)

I did buy a set of sport mirrors but after reading some posts from others I had concerns about them being usable. I had my uncle hold them up to the door while I was sitting in the truck. I didn't like how they looked on the truck and they were too low. I ended up selling them on the board and getting the "correct" 67-whatever (I think 70?) mirrors.

Edit:

Be prepared to paint the cheap washers, screws, and nuts, the damn things RUST! I need to clean mine up and paint them, probably just use some model car paint.

SWEEEEET!! Truck is lookin good Redneck. Bet it feels good to have er out on the street, don't it? I know what you mean about the mirrors. I got used to the big elephant ear mirrors on my 86, then the next time I got in my 68 I thought I was gonna run over somebody cuz I couldn't see anything.

What makes my truck even worse than yours is the small back window! I have to merge onto 2 interstates during the busiest times of the morning/afternoon (85 S then 385 S) to get to work!.

Thanks for the kind words all, you couldn't SLAP the smile off my face last night.... and yes.... I lit those brand new mofo tires up too

Yep they sure do rust! They need a better coating on them or use plastic wrench. Lots of venders have em on here. they are the stock 4" round ones.

Nice clean truck by the way! Sweet Blue.

Very Nice,
You need to stretch those tires and drive to Liberty SC, right on the other side of Easley SC. let see that stepside.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
