OEM/Stock front leaf springs and steering arm?
Hoping you can recommend a good source for some used or new oem spec front leaf springs for a '71 Jimmy 4x4. I am unfortunately having to remove 4" lift so I also need the stock steering arm. When I lifted vehicles in the past, I kept the stock springs and steering arm, just in case, but do not have them for this vehicle...

lmc has them... They arent afraid to charge ya though. I will tell you that since Ive dropped the $25dollars on a membership to this site, Every WTB (want to buy) post I have made has turned out spectacular results. We may be able to work out a trade though, As I am looking for lift springs and steering arm for a 72 gmc k1500. If they will work for your application, I would be happy to trade straight across.

Re: OEM/Stock front leaf springs and steering arm?
I like the idea of a swap, but my Jimmy is a daily driver so I'd have to receive your springs and steering arm, before I could send you mine. How many miles are on your chassis? Do you have 2 or 3 leaf? I see LMC sells both...
I will warn you, the lift springs I have are very stiff, definitely not 'soft ride'. The previous owner told me was a 4" lift kit, but I have not measured to confirm |
