Radio Antenna on a 67

I am looking to remove the ugly fender mounted radio antenna on my '67. What is everyone using in place of an external antenna on their 67-72 trucks?

Thanks!
Joe

I am planning on running an antenna under the cowl and smoothing out the hole where the original antenna goes. I also don't listen to the radio much so reception isn't really an issue for me.

If you live in a big city with good reception, you can do a lot of things. I built a "kit car" a couple years ago and bought an el cheapo rubber ducky antenna and tie wrapped it to the wiring under the dash...worked great. If you live out in the country and actually want to hear the radio, the cowl mounted antenna is your best bet.

Thanks - For now, I think I'll ziptie the antenna inside the cowl or fender.

I think I have a cowl panel w/o the hole in the garage too
