Disc Brake Conversion: Master Cylinder Question
Planning on putting a set of CPP 2.5" drop spindle disc brakes on my '70 C10 soon, and I know I need a Proportioning Valve, but as far as the MC I've hit a wall.
I cannot seem to find a manual brake disc/drum (keeping rear drum) master cylinder. I see there's one on CPP for a 71-72, will this one fit my C10? I'd imagine so, but there's a lot of things I assumed on this truck and came up wrong. Also, how do I remove the parking brake line from the rear drum backing plate? Mines frozen and needs to be replaced.

Re: Disc Brake Conversion: Master Cylinder Question
Also - are there any vendors who may be able to get me a good deal on the disc kit? The one I've currently got my eye on is 599.00 and looking to save wherever.

Re: Disc Brake Conversion: Master Cylinder Question
I was using an 81 corvette master on mine, worked fine. I will tell you I had nothing but problems with CPP's master cylinder and boosters. After 2 masters and 3 boosters I gave up. I am now using a Wildwood set up and love it.
Search CPP in this forum and you will find many issues with products and customer service. (Now I can sleep tonight by sharing) lol

Check with Travis at Pro Performance. He's a vendor on this site.
