Unhappy the day after valentines nightmare

well my dad has had his 72 since he was fifteen and it was the truck i loved so much growing up and it is the reason i bought mine =) well anyways today he was putting some hay out for the cows out east of town and some hay got stuck up under the truck and just completely toasted it. im pretty sure he was about to bust out crying. It was like a family member dying for him...he wouldnt sell it for a million dollars.. but anyways im thinking about trying to get him another except this time a four wheel drive since that is what he as always wanted. i know it wont be like his original but think i should try?

Re: the day after valentines nightmare

I say go for it, he'll definitely appreciate it.
I can relate; I totaled my 68 long step that I had since I was 16 a few years back and got my current 68 cst big block with the insurance $. I would have never parted with that old long step, but it wasn't repairable and now I've got the truck I wanted to turn it into.
