After some long hard thinking i'm going to go with the Show Wheels "streeters". I need to know some thoughts on back spacing and fitment. I'm thinking 20X8.5 front with a backspace of 5.25" and a 20X10 rear with a backspace of 5.5". Front tires will be 255/35/20 and rear tires will be 275/35/20. Do you all think this looks ok? My truck is lowered 4 1/2" in the front so i'm worried about the fit in the front. Help me out, going to order these asap. Thanks, Joseph

the wheels specs/pics start on page seven, check it out. I think they look real nice. Some people whine about the lettering on them but It doesn't bother me I barely noticed it! looks great on his truck!!

There the same ones who think you shouldn't cut your dash for the tunes you want!

If I had know about these wheels before I bought my 338's I may have used them.

Great looking. As far as opinions...they will vary all over the place. The end result is - if you like 20" wheels. Go for it.

Thanks guys, i guess i should have been a little more specific on what "opinions" i was looking for. I'm 98% sure i'm buying these wheels, i too think they are a lot of bang for the buck. My main question is with the backspacing and tire sizes. My truck does sit very low in the front and the front tires do rub when i hit a decent size bump or turn my front wheels and go over some uneven ground. It's the outside edge of the tire that rubs on the inner fender, i think it's because the rallys have too much of a dish to them. I need everyones opinions on the front backspacing, and if there tires rub at all in the front. Also there are so many different tire sizes, just need to know which ones fit best. Thanks again for all the help guys, Joseph

What kind of front brakes? I dont know if the 71-72 front discs have a different track width than the 73-87 front brakes but with the 73-87 brakes 5.25-5.5 back space on a 20x8.5 front wheels should work depending on camber adjustment. 5.75 bs on a 20x10 in the rear should work if you have the factory width rear end.

I would suggest looking at a 40 serries instead of the 35. I think you would enjoy a little more sidewall.

your ralleys are 0 offset so if they rub on the outside you will want more (+) offset. check out this site it makes compairing sizes easy

i have the 35 series and have no rubbing at all but i think for a long bed a 35 will look to small go with the 40's.

I think the 40 series will be a good choice, but it does come down to personal preference. I like a little more sidewall, and if the sizes are available in 40 series, I say go for it. Great looking truck by the way. The nice thing about the Showwheels, they bolt right up and no clearancing for the front hub.

And I agree with the others I would run 255/40 front and 295/40 on the rears.

echoing what other's have said, opinions are dime a dozen, none worth a dime unless you agree.

I went different than all have suggested thus far. I like sidewall, I went with both wider and taller than most would suggest. No body on yet, and haven't ordered the rears, but I decided on 275/45/20 front and 295/45/20 rear. Nice and wide, and a bit staggered. BS from all the research I did will be just right, and shouldn't rub with these wheels.

Not much in terms of reference points, but here is my fronts.

I like those 45 series too. Is that the grey streeters? That is about the way I would like to go if I know it will not rub on truck. All stock now, but thinking of a 2.5 drop spindle and 4" drop in back.

Correct, Gray streeters, and I have the 2/4 ECE deluxe drop (not sure what it's actually called but has shock relocaters, adjustable track bar, etc; its the full kit giving correct geometry).

I did lots of research and concluded from others on here I shouldn't, fingers crossed, have any rubbing issues with height, or width.

Also, I find the name stamping to be less apparent in person than the photos. For one, in person the wheels are not the only focal point, they are a part of the package; plus they are down low and you are generally speaking, not hanging out face at wheel height.

For the price, smoking deal. Only thing that would/might replace them in the future is a high end billet wheel when build is done and cash flow is better.

The backspace on the Streeters is good and you shouldn't have any rubbing issues. I have sold a few sets for the 67-72's and they have worked well. Just the narrower rearends on the earlier trucks require a spacer.

As for the name, I agree with Tmwoodall, and think the name is not that noticeable. It really disappears once the wheels are on the truck.

I would like to buy a complete package with the tires already mounted and balanced if possible. I think i will go with the polished Streeters, 20X10 rear with a 5.5" backspace and 20X8.5 front with a 5.25" backspace. For tires i think a 275/40/20 for the rear and a 255/40/20 for the front, I agree with everyone else, i would like a little more sidewall.
