Unhappy It's a shame!!

Went to our local yard today......found a 68 long bed...gold and white......327-4 barrel, wood floor bed, posi 373 rear......and it's a CST truck. The original purchase order where they checked off the things the original owner wanted is in the glovebox!!!!! It's got door edge guards......chrome vent windows, and a sway bar front end. This truck looks like it saw no abuse other than being left out in the Pacific Northwest Winters. The bed floor is rotted....some a**H*le broke out all but the vent windows, and when the truck hit the yard, they punched the gas tank and it drained into the cab. The seat belts look like nobody ever pulled them out.....the pass side is immaculate....and so is the drivers....EXCEPT where the gas ran down into it and they broke the housing around the base of the seat belt!!! Agghh!!!!!!!
It has the paint divider trim behind the cab in very, very good shape.
It's just a crying shame that someone would let such a nice truck get that way...ya know? I'm gonna head back to the yard tommorow to get a few items......oh yeah, the hood and front grille are in very good shape too.....as is the front bumper as well. If anyone close to me wants anything off this thing let me know ASAP.....Thay had it parked next to the crusher..bastards.
The rear end is a coil spring type....no idea of what shape the internals are.....but like the glove box and build sheet said.....373 and a posi traction. Oh...the engine is all complete as well....as is the non tilt steering column, dash, and etc. The seat belts are gold...or parchment colored.
Now......I'm gonna go have a beer......

Take a few pics if you got a digital camera.
It sure sounds like some rare options on that one.
Any of the gold trim stuff like visors, seat belts are not being reproduced so they would be worth grabbing.
Pics of the g/b option sheet and build sheet would be cool.
If someone doesn't pick it up maybe we could have a wake for it on the board and someone could pronounce the last rights.

That sucks!

If there are any of the early bumper guards without the rubber trim piece grab them and the mounting hardware. I'd be interested in them.
