Big Ten?
What years was this name used? What differentiated it from a typical 1/2 ton truck? Was it used on c10 and k10 trucks, or c10's only? Did GMC use this name?
Just a curiosity -- how tacky would it be to put a "big 20" sticker on a "c6p"-equipped 3/4-ton truck? It's sorta' the same thing.

Well a C20 is twice as good as a C10. 10x2=20.
So I would do it, and if you get some 70's goodness stickers it will look right. |

Big 10's were C-10, no K's, C-15 GMC's were called Heavy Half. It was a heavier suspension package and gave you a higher GVWR rating. It was available from '76 through '80.

Were bigger rear brakes part of the Big 10/Heavy Half option? I have run into different rear brakes on C10s from backing plate-out. The bigger brake backing plates set inward toward the leaf spring more. Not sure on diameter, but wider for sure
