Bull Logo

Something I'm just wondering about here, what trucks came with the bull head logo on the dash like the one in my avatar? Was that special for Cheyenne Super trucks like mine or did other trim levels come with that emblem? I had a "regular" Cheyenne before and it didn't have the emblem....

You can set my truck on fire and roll it down a hill,
and I still wouldn't trade it for a Coupe de Ville.

Re: Bull Logo

Hmmm, got me wondering as I do remember seeing the emblem as a kid.

My Cheyenne Super didn't have the emblem, but mine wasn't the Camper Special either.

Re: Bull Logo

Based on a little research... This is actually a longhorn emblem and the special package is detailed below...

Half-ton C10 and K10 trucks come in two wheelbases: 115 inches, with a 6.5-foot box, and 127 inches, with an 8-foot box. Both Fleetsides, with a flat bed exterior, and Step-Sides, with flat interior and protruding wheel wells, are available. A chassis-and-cab option with no bed is also available in both wheelbases. The 3/4-ton C20 and K20 come with the 127-inch wheelbase. Customers could also order the C20 as a "Longhorn" edition with an 8.5-foot bed, which rides on a 133-inch wheelbase.

Re: Bull Logo

Both of my trucks are Cheyenne Supers. One a 74 short stepside. The other a 73 short fleetside. Both have the bull emblem on the dash. I always just thought that was a Cheyenne Super thing. So does this meen they are both Longhorns? I thought Longhorns were the extra long bed 67-72s. Both of my trucks came with the HD 8 spring leafs too. Would that make a differense?

Re: Bull Logo

Well, I just measured my bed and it's exactly 8' 3". Is that the normal size?

Re: Bull Logo

The long horn logo was only used on Cheyenne Super trucks for the Square Body. The Longhorn edition truck was 67-72 only.

The answer is yes all Square Body 8ft beds measure 8ft 3in.
