'55.2 Aftermarket Steering Wheel Horn Wiring?

I got a Superior wheel on my '55.2. The factory wheel was on before. It was missing the horn button and all the horn guts so I couldn't see what it looked like. There is a wire going up through a hole in the bottom of the column, up through the inside of the column and attaches to the bottom of the factory hub somehow (maybe soldered?).

The Grant hub adapter comes with a short wire, one end to the Grant horn ring, the other end? I thought about running a new wire up through the column attaching directly to the Grant horn ring, but when you turn the wheel, it twists the wire around the inside of the column "pulling" the wire. That is lame.

What can I do to wire up this horn? Repop horn parts are easily available if I need to use part of those to make it work (just guessing here). I'm just not sure what to do next.

As always, thanks for the help and thanks for this great forum!
