Not sure if they are GM or not. There is no stamp on them saying GM so to be safe I say they are not.

On the amber side it will have "guide 8
SAE PIA 69"
And at the bottom will be "guidex"
it will be in the plastic and kind of hard to see and the back should have "made in the usa"

Not sure, I would assume 37 years but probably not. Worked fine, had replaced them off the 72 with the powder-coated ones off ebay before I sold it.
