Most states have error forms and with a notarized statement to the effect
That the sale.fell through or signed in wrong place I could breeze right through The dmv here. |

It would be pretty hard to get a notarized statement from dead people. Unless you mean SC will accept a notarized statement from you. That would be pretty thin protection for any legal owners whose title had been duplicated or stolen.

Having just read and enjoyed this thread, the first thing that pops into my head is the guy knows or suspects that it is stolen or at the least was "borrowed" by a family member and was reported to the local PD. Thus his attitude about looking at it. Right now my money is on that it's mildewing away in Astoria. No title no deal.
