Newcomer looking for help

At the age of 59 I decided to own only one more vechicle. One without computers, etc. Luckily, I found a 1967 GMC pick up in exceptions shape. Myself and friends have been having a lot of fun working on the truck but have encountered a couple of problems which some of you may be able to help. solve.
The engine is a 305 V-6. It has a Stromburg model ww, probably a 2099, two barrel carberator. We were able to get a rebuild kit but have been unable to find a float. We have rebuilt the float but I would like to find a new one. Does anyone have any ideas?
Also, previous owners have run substitute wires around what appears to be a dead short to the brake lights. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the 67 GMC pick up?
