2 tone green pics

Just about ready to take the truck to the bodyshop. We are going to paint it green and white stock 72 colors. The dark green is what we want. Does anyone know what color ( or #'s ) it is. We would like some pics also, inside and out please. A few years ago there was some pics of a nice 72-4x4 in this dark green and white ( it may have been a GMC ). Can't seem to find it now. thanks for any help, jeff

The truck actualy looks a little darker in person than it does in the picture. It was taken in my building with a flash. Where is the paint code located on the truck? My build sheet states dark green and white. I had a touchup done to the tailgate last week and the sheet he gave me with the paint formula list it as "HOLLY GREEN".

I just found two old cans of paint that I had used for touch ups. They both list "505" as the paint code. But mine is definitely different than the dark olive. They look similar at a distance but side by side they are night and day. I hope this helps.

green / white colors for 1972

According to my numbers book, there were four green color options in 1972.
Glenwood green = code #506
Meadow green = code #518
Spruce green = code #506
Willow green = code #504

They list a spanish gold, code #511. I list this because my cousin had a '75 which was harvest gold but looked green.

There is only one white listed for '72
Frost white = code #521

I have included this link for a color sheet but the names don't match up. I am wondering if this is for the larger commercial trucks as it is labeled "commercial colors"

http://autocolorlibrary.com/cgi-bin/...truck-pg01.jpg

I'll keep looking to see if I can find another color sheet with the right names/codes.

I have a few pics of Dark Olive and White paint jobs. My truck was this color from the factory and one day I'll put it back that way...

If it's the color of the parts truck I just bought, I will look for the paint code for you. This green is a little bluer than the dark olive (my GMC is dark olive and they're not the same).
