Re: 73/87 model kits
Here are a couple of mine. Have many built square models just not pictures of all of them. The first is a AMT Fall Guy reissue with a 88-98 Sportside bed. The black one is a AMT Sod Buster (I think?) kit from the 80’s. Both are basically from the same AMT tooling.
I built this one about 5 years ago I build this one about 20 years ago Square wrecker kit Not a square but a cool ’72 K5 I built about 10 years ago. This is an old AMT kit as well. The exhaust that came with the kit was pretty sucktastic so I made exhaust pipe out of aluminum rods

Re: 73/87 model kits
been dicking around on this off & on for the last year.
started with a cab & box, scratch built frame, susp. & interior. needs rear door windows, rad hoses, engine wiring, rear brake lines & fender flares. just found a sport r. bumper, so step bumper is off 1/25 |

Re: 73/87 model kits
Get 2 short beds and mold the correct length from one into another

Re: 73/87 model kits
did'nt, came with the body. it was a '75 2wd crew i got from RMR Resin. he just sells body's, you have to buy a donor kit or fabricate everything else.
http://www.freewebs.com/rmrresin/nf125.htm his stuff is pricey, but he makes what no one else does, & Ron (owner) is a stand-up guy |

Re: 73/87 model kits

this stuff makes great beds though. you just need to add the wheelwells from a model http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/evg/evg4530.htm |

Re: 73/87 model kits
it's 2 kits plus a bunch of homemade stuff.
RMR '75 crew this was the front clip on the rmr body check out the emblem, don't ever recall a 1/2 ton crew depending on what your building, the rmr frame (right), might work for you, didn't for me and used this kit for the front clip, front part of the frame, axles & transfer case & the glass. also the mirrors, & chopped a visor out of the cab roof |
