Need help with rear seat location - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

My Blazer came with no rear seat. There are no holes in the floor or any cages nuts under the floor to see where to locate my seat. Does anyone have measurements or pics of where they put there rears seats would be great.Thanks! Rob

I just installed seats in my Jimmy, and ended up just drilling holes right through the floor, then running heavy duty bolts with washers top and bottom with lock washer under. The key here is to make sure you're lined up with the support beam under the bed. You should be able to see where the stock bolts were and go from there. I installed the brackets for a 3rd row bench out of an Escalade, so I can still easily remove them if I ever need to haul something. The only issue I have with this is it takes like 10 or 12 holes, and spacing needs to be almost exact. Anyway, hope this helps at least a little.

Can anyone give me a measurement of how much of the back floor is in front of the rear seat.
