Gold seat belt Question.

So I'm eventually going to get started on the 50th Anniversary Step Side Clone. I'm thinking BB, PS, PB, A.C. I'm having some trouble with the seat belts though. I've got an idea, but need some input. Are the gold seat belts from the other years the same gold that is in the anniversary? I know the codes are a bit different, but is the gold interior the same, or not. I'm lacking the dash pad, and carpet, and seat belts, but Im not sure if the other year gold interiors will match. Any knowledge would be appreciated.
Shawn

Also, what year trucks (S10) Had the upper mount (3 point seatbelt, on the pillar) with the nice plastic cover that snapped over it?

Does anyone have a clean piece of an old 50th anniversary seatbelt that I could get from them. Maybe one where the rest of the seatbelt is nasty or torn, but there is a few inches of nice belt at the end, maybe in the sheath that didn't get faded or damaged? I'm toying with the idea of having some made, but need a good color match.
Thanks!
Shawn

Re: Gold seat belt Question.

I don`t know an accurate answer to the same belt color.I would think it`s the same.I`d like to add a question to this. Was there any other gold used for interiors besides the 50th?I have some visors I figure have to be 50th anniversary.I don`t know of any gold interiors in these trucks.

gold was an option on non 50ths... but it wasn't the same as 50th gold.

Re: Gold seat belt Question.

Alrighty. So I'm outa luck on matching gold stuff unless I get anniversary gold. That's going to make it more difficult, and possibly more costly. I'm thinking about getting some belt material and having some belts made. Has anyone ever contacted a place that sells belts to find out if belts can be made if we provide the buckles, etc?
