Environmental Protection Canister ::::::::::> Question
I’m assuming this thing is filled with charcoal. I’m tempted to remove it.
What have you other folks done with it? If removed, what did you do with the hoses?  Ps::::> Did I really have to remove the radiator to remove the battery box to remove the smog crap to get to the lights? thanx |

leave the smog stuff alone. Cali keeps on talkin about reverting to there old smog laws, making these trucks new enough to need smogged.
Even if they don't chainge the laws, it is still a punnishable offense to remove smog items What light were you replacing to have to do all that??? |

all lights are easily accessable on these trucks with no need to rmove any of that stuff

ewwwwwww.
Been there, but mine was from being retarded. I was replacing the belt on the alt... loosened it up so it would just flop over... it flopped all the way over to where the stud hit the intake (long water pump set up, alt on passenger side) I was amazed at how long it took for the burns on my hand to heal up from where I grabbed the harness out of panic instead of the batttery terminal... which was loose, but not removed. |
