Finally, '05 Sierra slightly lowered...

Some may recall my post asking if I can just yank the factory lifting blocks from an '05 Sierra's rear suspension...Here it is, with and without. I think it looks a lot better.

It's funny because I really don't notice it at all...it's mostly in my head, but at least I know it's lower!

Re: Finally, '05 Sierra slightly lowered...

That's what I think now, whenever I look at it, that it isn't enough. I stop myself, though. This is just supposed to be my reliable transportation and that 's it. My fun truck is waiting for me to stop being lazy and THAT is what I need to start focusing on. Besides, before I took the blocks out, all I wanted was a truck that looked "normal," because I NEVER liked how high this was in the rear...from the day my father brought it home from the dealer I thought the rear stance looked dumb...I'm satisfied with it now...but I do need to park it next to my work truck every now and then to remind myself that I did it at all!

Ha ha!, that's how it starts, "just a little more" come one, its not much, just put some spindles or springs on the front and some $40 shackles in the back and fenders will be just above the tires, it'll look pretty good, come on... wont be much. =)
