Cab interchangeability
I'm needing to replace the cab on an 01 2500 HD 4x4. Will a 2002 1500 4x4 cab plug in with no modifications?
I bought the 01 as a rollover with the intentions of putting the 6.0 in my 63, but found a cab for 850 bucks.

Re: Cab interchangeability
I'm sure the cab will mount up, but I'm not sure about the plug and go part of the electronics though.

Re: Cab interchangeability
Yes, everything will transfer over, all of the electronics will be the same, although you will want to keep the gauge cluster out of the HD, although the 1500 cluster will work, the HD cluster has the trans temp gauge, and the mileage is actually stored in the cluster, so if you were to use the 1500's cluster you would display the wrong mileage. Engine computer and such stays in the engine bay, so that will all stay the same, just plug and go.
