Parting my project out. 1967 - 1972 Re-Posted

I've decided after this long and the last winter to sell my project 1967 - 1972 truck as parts. I need my garage back. I had this posted and the buyer had to back out so here it is again with what I have that isn't already spoken for. If any of the other parts become available I'll post them later.

1967 small window cab $450
New cab mounts from LMC in package, $40.
Dash Pad $25
Short Flare Side Bed $350
TH350 transmission $75
1969 hood $50.
1969 front fenders $75.
1969 Grille good condition $75.
Bench Seat (needs covered) $25
3 speed and one automatic steering column $25 each.
White Face Gauge set with bezel $30
305 engine from I think a 1987. $75.
Edelbrock Performer Manifold w1406 Edelbrock carb. $125
I also have glove box doors, new center bearing, new combination U Joint, 2 alternators,2 steering pumps, heater control, new master cylinder, power brake booster, heater assembly for non-a/c and one a/c heater core, one radiator. I have stored everything to build a truck including wiring, switches.

I WON'T MESS WITH TRYING TO SHIP OVERSIZED PARTS. If you need something I don't have listed let me know and I'll see if it's here. Thanks for looking. Let me know if you want a picture of anything or care to stop by and see it.

Re: Parting my project out. 1967 - 1972 Re-Posted

Concerning carb and intake manifold... What is the condition? New, used, rebuilt?

What is the condition of the fenders? Do you have photos?

Based on the answers to these questions, I am interested in both of these pairs of items.

I went back and read the original deleted thread and no one said "I'll take it". The general rule (unwritten) is that asking questions about an item does not put anyone "in line". I ran into the same thing where I asked for pictures of an item. I planned to purchase it but wanted to see it first. It was such a good deal someone posted after me that they would take it sight unseen. At that point the person after me now has first chance at the item. It's the only way to keep it fair for everyone.

Since I lost the other sale I now state that I will take the item and then ask for pictures before payment. If it is then not as described then I will pass on it...

Thank you for the update. Please note my response to a question above....

...in the future it would be better to reply to the original thread, instead of deleting it and starting over. That deleting it usually results in confusion and hard feelings.

I thought only mods could delete a thread?

I here you but I really don't see a difference. If I say I am interested but want to see a picture, and you say I'll take it but want to see a picture, neither one have us has committed to buy it because we both obviously wanted to see a picture before committing. Oh, well. Live and learn. No hard feelings here, just didn't get what happened.

Re: Parting my project out. 1967 - 1972 Re-Posted

This comes up day in and day out. We have guidelines to help as much as possible.. but in the end, unless you say, I am interested put me in line pending pics or such, no one knows if you are actually wanting the item or not. There are a bunch of folks who reply, ask for pics, and never go back to the thread.

As for deleting, subscribing members do indeed have the ability to delete their own threads. This is for when items have sold etc. It was reinstated as a subscription benefit over a year ago.

Re: Parting my project out. 1967 - 1972 Re-Posted

Pictures are there now. Master Cylinder was replaced when I got the truck. Brand new. Booster is original for truck. Wiring is from a couple of different trucks. Cab wiring is both a/c and non a/c. Both for gauges. I do not have the harness for across the rear of the truck for taillights. I have it from the front to the beck except for that one.
