68 K20 originality?

I'm looking for better trained eyes than my own to know what's original and what isn't in this engine room.

The truck is a 68 K20 Custom with C & C Equipment. It's a pretty closely held California truck since new. Represented at 30,000 original miles, yet a rebuilt 327. It's clear (to me) intake, carburetor, A/C, distributor, coil, have all been added or upgraded.

My primary interest relates to the power steering and the brake booster.
Could the power steering be original if not listed on the SPID tag? Brake booster doesn't look original, and seems to be mounted a bit close to the alternator. It appears to be a different shape than others I've seen. Power brakes also not listed on the tag.

Other thoughts are welcome.

I haven't yet seen the truck in person, just looking at the photos.

Lastly, are these door panels an original style or material?

Thanks for the help. I'm pretty new here, but lots of knowledgeable folks on this forum.

Re: 68 K20 originality?

My opinion is 30k miles since a restore. Too many things changed to be a low mileage truck from the few photos I see.

P/S & P/B should be listed on the SPID if GM built it that way. Door panels (& speakers) are not original. Engine compartment looks nice!

The 4x4 engines are in the rear mounting position, that is why it is so close to the firewall and why the booster is close to the alternator. I think it has had a few changes made to it....

What does it have for a transmission?

Re: 68 K20 originality?

Transmission is a 4 speed. Shows M20 on the SPID.

Re: 68 K20 originality?

Maybe it had 30k or 130k but it looks like a fairly fresh resto vs original truck.
