Generation ( several) Gap
Recently had cause to pick up my grandkids in my 71 C10.
Several things came to light from the 8 year old boy: Grandad, what does DEF mean? Grandad, how do we put the windows down? Grandad, what is the silver cap behind the driver door? ( Gas) Grandad, how do I open the door? Mmmmm |

Re: Generation ( several) Gap
Ive had the same thing with my two grand kids, 19 and 12 now so they have it figured out.
Funniest thing to me was when my grandson first rode in one of my trucks (I don't remember his age at the time), his worry was that he was going to get in trouble for riding in the front seat. I told him to look around, do you see any other seats? He settled in and enjoyed the ride after that. Had him sitting on his car booster seat and strapped in with a three point I had installed. Truck was my 4x4 so he had his first great view while riding in a vehicle.
