Electric door locks??? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am starting a new project to build a daily driver, a 4X4 72 Suburban and was wondering if anyone has tried the electric door locks kits that are available. This sure does seem like a nice update.

i got the kit from lmc with the remotes. about 70-80 dollars. worked pretty good but i had bad distance on the FOB, but after replacing the battery i got a 250 foot range

Thanks, I get kind of cautious about some of the quality. Some stuff just does not deliver on quality.
