We started this build September 2014, with what started as a basic paint and body repair has quickly developed into a full frame-off upgrade.

Cab & Bed were sent off to Extreme Powder Coating (Arlington, TX) for sandblasting services. Frame & Chassis were delivered to Steamaway's (Ft Worth, TX) chemical high pressure wash bays to dissolve years of oil, grime and road film.

After frame prep was completed, we upgraded the brakes to BAER SS4 4 wheel disc series. Installed the Porter Built Tube Control Arms and Bagged the suspension with EZ-Air Ride's Classic Series Air Bags.

We jumped around a bit off schedule and installed Holley Hydramat pick-up inside the original gas tank. We are planning to use RobbMc EFI Surge under the hood to supply gas to the LM7 stock fuel rail. We are currently waiting on all body repairs and prep, meanwhile- LS ECU/PCM wiring and tuning is on the horizon.

More to follow as we continue...Stay tuned
