Help! Looking for grill chrome exchange
I have a 62 burb with a black powder coated grill and a beat up extra one. A few days ago I found a website that actually sells all different year chromed grills including 62 but they take one in exchange for every purchase. I am going crazy trying to find it again. Anyone know who I am talking about or might have some suggestions or a 62 chromed grill for sale?
Thanks, AJ Posted via Mobile Device |

I think I found it and it is only 15 minutes away in Hayward. Pretty crazy.

While I was looking on the net for you, I came across a thread on H.A.M.B. and they had some not-so-nice things to say about that place. I have never done business with them, so it's basically heresay, but thought you should know.

Re: Help! Looking for grill chrome exchange
I have delt with them before. I got my both bumpers from them as well as one for my old 53 wagon.
I bought the rear bumper at the Pleasanton Good Guys swap meet about 5 years ago. I asked for a 60 rear but found out after getting home I was sold one for a 63-66 . They took care of me by getting me the right one the next day, of course I had to drive up to Pleasanton the next day , pay for parking and entrance to the swap meet. But the did give me a deal on the front bumper 40.00 off, and they still look great !

Re: Help! Looking for grill chrome exchange
Thanks for the advice guys. I think I am going to take it and go over to Superior Chrome Plating in San Jose. I took your advice and starting cruising HAMB and it looks like they are pretty well known and do great work.
