Bought the wife a new ride

Well we live above the Snow Line, and my Wife informed me that if we were gonna stay there any length of time, she wanted a "Big Girls Truck".
So I wanted to pass on to the Members here and see what you all think.
I picked her up a used 2005 GMC Sierra Ext. Cab 1/2 ton 4X4.
This thing has Charcoal Gray Leather Interior and every FRICKIN' Bell/Whistle you could want! Dual Climate control in front, AC vents in back, Temp/Compass Rear view Mirror with On-Star, Sirrius Satellite Radio, Driver 1 & 2 Seat options, Heated Leather Seats (top, bottom or BOTH), the list goes on and on.
Has 108K miles and we paid $13375.00 for it.
Also included was a 3 years Bumper to Bumper Warranty.
Take it to and Chevy Dealer, pay the $100.00 deductible and that's it.

On the lighter side, she wants New Aftermarket Wheels/Tires.
She DOES NOT want the large "BLING-BLING" Wheels. She wants to keep with the 17" Diameter, but go to a bigger "Knobby" tire. Not a mud bog, but something that fills up the Fenderwell.

Can anyone provide me with any Links/Manufacturers who make wheels for this truck.
I went to Americas Tire Store and she didn't see anything she liked, so I was kinda hoping you might turn me on to some different venders.

Thanks
Roger

She hasn't decided on Black or Chrome or Machined yet.
All I know is she wants to stay with 17".

Very nice truck - I just got some tires from the Tire Rack online, and I know they have wheels - Tires were very reasonably priced.

Re: Bought the wife a new ride

Actually shes a "Good Girl" every year.
I figure it's the least I can do, for her going to work every day and putting her life on the line!

Re: Bought the wife a new ride

I think you did okay ..it's loaded and the wife probably really likes that .. I just bought a 06 for $14200 not a whole lot of frills /49,500 miles .. gives you some comparison ,,as for the wheels you can take a look at my truck with after market wheels to get a idea of what they look like ..
I have a post above asking opinions on the wheels ,, papa
