1967 axles swap
Hey guys can I use axle shafts from a 73 -87 chev in my 67 housing? I want 5 bolt axles but there are not many of those 67-72 style trucks around here.

Re: 1967 axles swap
No, the 1969 and older axle housing is narrower than 70-8? You will need conversion axles. You can buy them from any aftermarket resto parts store or just go right to the source and get them from Moser. http://www.moserengineering.com/axle...spline-31.html You can however use the drums and everything else from a 71-8? 12 bolt truck. You could have your existing axles drilled by a machine shop if you have any willing shops near by.
