Spec me an LS cam!!!

I'm trying to figure out what cam/springs to put in my new 6.2 motor. The engine is out of a 2013 Camaro SS (only 135 miles) and will have the factory 6L80E behind it. I'm plan on putting a TVS 1900 Maggie on top and will be deleting the AFM/VVT with a kit from TSP. I don't want to get crazy with the cam and would like to keep the stock converter if possible. Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions. TIA

EDIT: Some more pertinent information. The truck weighs approximately 3500 lbs, 4.11 gears with 31" tall tires. I will probably run a/c.

Martin @ Tick will spec you a custom grind for $400 - same you'll pay most anywhere else for an OTS grind.
That would be my recommendation.

If your running the VVT delete from TSP, I'd give them a ring about a spec for your combo. I've been pretty happy with TSP and its service and product.

I talked them, but the guy I talked to sounded pretty young and wasn't very confident about what he was telling me. Is there someone there that you would recommend?

Does any one have a guess on what the stock stall converter is on this 6L80E? Any thoughts on this CAM?

Ed is the godfather, he's been in the business for a LONG time and really knows his stuff.

Me personally, with an F/I app I'd have Ed do it. Another $50 and you will know you're not leaving anything on the table.

I talked to Brian at Comp Cams and he suggested this:

219/235 113 LSA
607/621

He said this will give me a little lope, plenty of power and I can run the stock torque converter.

Thoughts??

How many miles a year are you going to drive this?
I am taking it, you are much more concerned about street manners than how fast it goes down the track?
What rpm are you wanting to spin too?
What fuel are you going to run?
Stock heads?

That TSP cam is more suited for a na LS3.

Hopefully 10-12K miles a year. I don't want to replace the current obnoxious motor with another obnoxius motor. If I want to drive to Cali, I don't want to worry about engine problems....I will probably run it at the track 6 to 8 times a year. I would think 6500 RPM on rare occassions. I'll be running this through a 6L80E with a stock verter. I want to have fun, but I don't want to break things.... I know I'm asking for the moon, hopefully I can find a good compromise here....

Call who you want but those guys make a living picking lobes and they do it very well.
Both can set you up with all of the correct components to match the cam they design.

Comp LSL lobes or XER lobes the LSL will give you more lift than the XER. The com premises are wearing springs and guides a bit faster with a stock rocker.

224/232 with a 106icl + 4* advance ground in.

This will give you very similar curve to an ls6 cam just a lot more power. Should peak right around 6200-6400 with a ton of tq down low.

Hart, for the life of me I can't remember the dude's name over at TSP that I dealt with. I met him in person out at LS fest a while back.....unfortunately telling you what he looks like won't do much.

You could also talk to Allen at Nelson Performance. He does alot with turbo and supercharged applications.

After many questions and a lot of good advice (thanks everyone!), here is the cam I ended up ordering:

I'll also be upgrading to dual valve springs, hardened pushrods and a trunion upgrade for the rocker arms (as well as deleting the AFM and VVT, ).
