Re: ls intake with elbow
May I ask why you went the elbow route? They have been proven to make less power on a N/A motor than a 4150 or 4500 TB.
Are you going to run N20? If so will it be off a single fuel system? Reason I ask is an NA fuel system design is super easy. NA: put the pump regulator near the fuel cell/tank so your return can be short and you only have to run 1 line up to the rails. You can then T it in to both rail and dead head the other end of the rail. N2O: I found out the heard way that it is best to run the system like this. Cell Pump Single line to a T just before the rail Rails Dual -4 out of the rails to the regulator Return line I pull fuel off the rails before it goes back to the regulator. Reason being, if your fuel for N2O is after the regulator, you see a major fuel pressure drop when you first spray the motor. If the regulator is after you fuel take for your N2O, the regulator just needs to return less fuel and you don't see the pressure drop. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: ls intake with elbow
So i already have a 10an feed and a 8an return. And i think the 10an y's into both rails, then out of the rails into 8an's into the regulator, then out of the regulator into my 8an return?

Re: ls intake with elbow
What pump are you running?
What line do you have from the cell to the pump (you want this to be bigger than the output since it is pulling, not pushing). I currently have: -12 from cell to pump -12 filter Weldon 2035 -10 line that splits via y-block dual -10 to rails -4 off each rail in to an aero motive a1000 regulator -6 return Keeps a constant 58psi with no pressure creep or drop. If mine works fine with that much pump and that small of a return, I suspect you will be ok. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: ls intake with elbow
Mine is 10an from the tank to the pump and filter, then 10an out of filter to y block. Hopefully that will work..

Re: ls intake with elbow
Not as tho I needed this, but I put a Magnafuel 625 on the LS stroker in my sand buggy(stupid over kill for <500 HP but,, it's what we dyno tuned with) Anyways it's the pump the machinist uses on his dyno up around 1200HP EFI motors. Except I didn't have a fuse and relay that was happy with the stock wire size ,, it's been ROCK SOLID on 2-3 hour dune runs.

Re: ls intake with elbow
I've had good luck with this a1000 pump with the big block, hope it will work atleast till i get it running, then i will probably change it to a better pump... Seams like these pumps are a hit and miss on good or bad...
