Need Help with motor mounts (again)

This is getting a little confusing to say the least. Below you will see what I have to put a Chevy 6 cylinder 250 motor into the 67 Chicken Dinner truck. The truck originally had a 327 v8 that had a blown rod when I bought it. For know I have a 6 cylinder 250 motor that I would like to put into the truck while I take my time getting the 327 rebuilt the way I want it. I have done all kinds of searching for this particular part on the internet, this site and at the local parts stores. I have not been able to turn anything up. Any advise where I might look, or even what the part is called would be helpful.

Looks like the drivers side motor mount and tower assembly.

Yes the mount that is on my engine is from 1979 - Does anyone know where I can get the right mount online?

yea, thos motor mounts attached to your block are for a latter vehicle.

Hey everyone I know that the metal brackets that are on the truck are from a later model. I was looking to see if anyone knows what the right metal mount on the motor looks like or where I can try to get some .

It looks to me like you have all the parts you need. Those new moter mounts bolt the block where that late model bracket is and then to the engine tower. Maybe i missed your question but i have a small block with I6 mounts and towers if you need a picture.

what he needs is the spacer plate that goes between the mount and the block.. it was on all 250s and 230s in these trucks to expand the mount outward so that the 6cyl would reach to the frame towers.. i dont have a picture of it or know where you might find one other than a parts truck, or ebay, or maybe here if people understand what your looking for. So I am going from a 292 to a 350 do I need to change the I6 stands or just move them??? sorry to hijack this thread

tlandmark, the 292 stands are different than the the others. You can put a small block on any i6 mounts except the 292 because one of the mounts is more forward than the other side. So you will have to switch out your towers. I think member seacrow had a set of towers that he was selling, he may still have them. Hope this helps, Dan.

I am sorry for my poor communication. The part I need is metal and it bolts directly to the block (see pict 1 below). The next part is the metal and rubber bushing- which I have (see pict 2 below). Then the motor tower that mounts to the frame- which I have and it is the inline 6 version (also see pict 2 below)

So the part that is in picture 1 is what I am trying to find out what it is called so I can search for the part on the internet, or where I might be able to find a set .

To answer someone else post above about the inline 6 towers working on a v8. I have heard yes and no to that. What I know is that the v8 towers are smaller than the inline 6 towers as the pict from texasfirefighter shows (see pict 3 below).

Sorry, no dice on the second set, their car mounts. But here is a better picture of the right side mount and it is different from the left. (I don't know exactly what to tell you to call them?) You should post a WTB in the classified section on here if you haven't already.
