Try Kevin Rantuccio in Massachusetts - cameogold@gmail.com

Kevin is the Wal-Mart of Cameo parts - BUT - get ready with your wallet. The few guys around the country like Kevin who fool with Cameo parts know what they have and know what Ebay will bring for such items. No "good deals" on Cameo stuff - just deals. On the bright side, at least the stuff is still out there to be had right?

PS - I have a REAL verifiable 57 Cameo that unfortunately was used as a parts truck by the previous owner so there is no Cameo bed and no engine or trans, but numerically it is a provably real Cameo by the codes. The Cameo was a 6 cyl truck so I found a 1957 short factory V8 frame w/ its matching V stamped VIN to go with it....between the trim tag and my V8 VIN and matching frame you could construct a 100% correct numerically V8 57 Cameo. All you need is the 265 V8 and choice of trans and you'd have to construct the entire Cameo bed from used and reproduction parts - easy enough if you have the cash. Let me know if interested....

Thanks for the info. What we have is a real 56 Cameo that someone hacked into a pro-street (hacked is being kind). So it has the original bed etc. but no trim at all. I'll get in touch with Kevin and see what he has. We are prepared to spend good money for the right parts.
Thanks again,
Brad

Re: WTB 56 Cameo bed trim, maybe 55, 57 too

I have 2 cameos and have a buddy that has 7 cameos but he never sells, only buys and hoardes them for a later date to be determined. I always look at the cameo stuff and have been seeing some stuff at the local swap meets lately as people seem to be getting rid of their projects. I have sold parts and whole trucks to Kevin and he is a great guy. There is a guys that lives and breathes Cameos and is easy to deal with, He might have what you need.

Here is a link, tell him Allen in Vacaville with the 57 Napco. He does a lot of original restorations and they always look good and are done right.

OK - you say this is a 56, so if you mean its really a 56 and not a 57 titled as a 56 because it weas bought in 56, then there is no bed trim to find because 55 and 56 did not use chrome bed trim - if you have a 57 that was titled a 56, then it should indeed have the trim. Hope that helps - your VIN will tell if its a 56 or 57

Re: WTB 56 Cameo bed trim, maybe 55, 57 too

the Cameo in the photo you provided is a 55 or 56 and someone built a 57-58 bed for it so it is very incorrect and de-valued as it sits in the picture.
