shock mount location & Wheel width question

I'm running a TCI Must II IFS w/ air bags in a 55' 3100. I'm working out steering column issues and notice that during the travel from left to right that My wheels will contact the shock mount on the lower control arm. The tires are 205/65/15. I was planning to run a wider tire such as a 235-255. I believe I can clear the shock issue if I run a 20" wheel but that 's no the look I'm going for. Has anyone else run into this issue? and if so what did you do?

Looks like lower shock mounts are welded in wrong location must be inboard some more contact TCI.

That's the way the control arms came. I bought the IFS several years back. I'm thinking they took their standard Must II IFS and added some bag mounts. We'll see what TCI says.

this is a TCI front end with bags and the tires don't hit.. check your back spacing.. these are 15 x 7's wtih 3 1/2" back space..

If you're running 4" or more you will hit..

I'm only hitting when I turn all the way to the left or right. Will you hit the shock mounts when you turn all the way to the left or right? I'm assuming I may hit the inner fender well before I hit the shock mount?

no the tires have never hit the shock bolt. do you have any more pictures that you can post? also what is your b.s. on the front rims?

Measured the backspacing today @ 4". These aren't the wheels I will be running but good information for later. What size tires are you planning to run?

215x15 60's on 15x7's with 3 1/2'' b.s.
