Talking I'm finally back!!!!

So. I went down the International pick up road for a few years. Pretty much done . It's a 72 stepside shortbox 4x4 1110. But what a nightmare for parts. Wife and I decided to do one more truck . Thinking of doind a 57 Chevy truck. Question I have is I have a 1979 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive rolling frame. I've never ventured back to the 50"s on a build. Will this frame work or is there to much involved in switching everything?
Thanks

way back in 1972 my dad traded in his 69 CST shortbed 2wd on a 72 scout 4x4 with a 345 motor, luckily he got the line sheet with it otherwise, as you said, parts were a nightmare. international used parts from all big 3 manufacturers back then. it was a great car and would go just about anywhere. but i'm still pissed about him getting rid of the chevy.

Re: I'm finally back!!!!

Yea. those were nice. Luckly I got the International "Bible" with it. Actual book from the mechanics. You could literially build it bolt by bolt from this book. Just needs a bed floor in it and it's ready for paint.
