Re: What size tires
I just did the same thing on my non-lowered truck. Went with 235/70/15 on the front and 275/60/15 on the rear. Really like the look and ride.

Re: What size tires
Yesterday I installed 245/65/17 on my 72 c-10. I had originally ordered 265/70/17 but were too tall for me. Truck needs lowered a tiny bit though.

Re: What size tires
Just ordered my 6th set of 4 255/70/15 BF Goodrich T/A's . Driven 306,000 miles on these tires in the last 22 years and they drive, ride, steer, and stop like a dream. 3.08 rear gear and 700R4 at hiway speeds 350 engine is just loafing (and getting about 20 MPG).

Re: What size tires
275/60/15 all the way around if you are not lowered. This tire size worked well for me. If you lower it, 215/70/15 in the front gives it a nice rubber rake.
