Glove Box Mech Removal
Okay... I am probably just horrible at searching this forum but did make a strong effort...
I can find all day the headlight switch method..... But how in the heck to you remove the glove box latching mechanism. (I have the non-locking push-button mech only similar to shown below) 1966 SWB Fleet C10

Ya, should be 2 small screws on the back that screw into the mechanism.. but has a bracket that applies tension to the back of the door. The push button mechanism was a tight fit to the glove box door if I remember correctly. Might have to wiggle it out. The chrome piece comes out with it out the back side of the door.
