Re: Pics of new to me 87

Looks good. I love that gray on the exterior. Mine is Red and it had that maroon interior. The interior I had to change, to me it clashed with the red. I went with a charcoal/graphite interior. That would be sharp with your grey exterior color.

On the seatbelt, try pulling it completely and then let the belt go back in just a smidgen and then give it a little jerk, not hard. Sometimes that will reset the retracter.

Very nice! Interior looks to be in good shape. I do like the maroon interior.

drop
wheels and tires
sport bumper
remove bed rails
fix or replace radio (has retro sound and lights up but no sound, also got original radio but it does not work properly either)
fix rust behind wheel, current paint is driver quality only
probably aftermarket wheel

I will use as a daily until the burb is back up on the road and then split time between the two. Start saving again for the 72 SWB because I spent all my money on this one. LOL

It came with a set of torque thrust 20's NIB.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

Re: Pics of new to me 87

Are you going to use those wheels(torq thrusts) or get something else? If your selling, hint hint.

I plan on running them for the time being but my plans may change. I have a set of Coys I am going to put on it first to test tire sizes once I give it a drop.

Glad you were able to make a deal on it. I really like this color combo, super clean, and looking forward to the upgrades.

Yes. Any problems with aftermarket sport bumper brackets or bumper manufacturers/distributors that I need to stay away from. I am trying to decide on drop components as well.

Re: Pics of new to me 87

If you want to use the gravel pans with the sport bumper then I would find some OEM brackets. If not then the aftermarkets brackets are the cheaper option and I've had no problems with fitment. I use choicebumper on ebay or rockauto for brackets. Check and see if you have a LQK/Keystone dealer or distributor local to you, I've being using them for my bumpers and I'm real happy with the them. LQK will have the tag mount and light to go with them, then you'll need bumper bolts and hardware also.
