Hollister Road Company Tilt Steering Column

Has anyone had any experience with this tilt steering column? http://www.hollisterroad.com/proddet...rod=WB7000%2D1
Seems like a great price versus the ididit or flaming river column shifts.

Your thoughts please. TIA

Re: Hollister Road Company Tilt Steering Column

I've never seen them before but they look sweet. I've been wanting a new column and might give it a try.

They look like the Helix brand columns, a Hoffman Company

Re: Hollister Road Company Tilt Steering Column

They are not from Hoffman but very similar. Only one family in Asia controls that market so everyone that has this column has almost the same one with maybe different levers. They are a nice column for the money but certainly not a Flaming River or an Ididit. They don't have a neutral/backup switch, the lower end is a 1" DD that you can use a Ujoint on with your stock lower shaft. You will need an $14 adapter for flat GM to curved GM wiring or just splice the wire. Comes with the levers and a 9 hole steering wheel adapter.
