Anyone rolling 19.5"s, or pics of trucks with them?

Just curious what these trucks would look like running 19.5" wheel and tire combos. I've been thinking about trying to find some Rickson forged single wheels if there's any one selling a set of used ones and I could get a hold on them as they have currently stopped selling them. The plans would be to go with a 285/70/19.5 drive tires such as the Michelin XDE2+, but if any one has any pictures of any 19.5" on these trucks it would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a few pics of my old 72 extended cab, the tires are 8r Cooper C-140 drives on 19.5 American alloys. I chose the 8r cause they are the tallest at almost 35" that I could find.

Blazerman,

Thank you for posting, that's a sharp looking truck.

Did you experience any adverse handling when the truck was unloaded or loaded lightly, I've never driven a truck with 19.5s that was unloaded.

Thanks, the 19.5s are commonly used on P-30 1 ton stepvans, wreckers and some motorhomes.

These tires handle Great! I'm using Equal to balance them and love it! it does a great job on these big heavy tires..altough its a real pain to check air pressure. I can cruise down the road at 75 with one finger on the wheel..not a bit of shimmy and I'm not running a steering stabilizer. When not loaded I run them at 60 psi..this is as low as you can go and still seat the tire on the rim. I had 110 in them when I first installed them...not gonna tell that story! The heaveist load I've had was probably around 1,600 pounds not including the 100 gallon fuel tank and still no handling problems. My rear springs are new Eaton 1 ton rated and the fronts are Skyjacker 4" lift with high steer crossover..all this combination along with a PSE steering box and Borgeson steering vibration dampener worked out great for steering and handling.
